Online Marketing NOT My First Passion

What? You mean you used to be something other than an online marketer?

By trade, I am an alternative health practitioner which is something I don’t often share since it really does not pertain that well to being a lead consultant.

But it’s really my passion for helping people to be healthy that got me started searching for online ways to promote good health practices.

And that’s why I am sharing with you the following information.

It’s free advice not a sale of any kind. But not following it could cost you years of your life.

Is that important enough for me to share with you?

I believe it is.

Did you know that sitting for prolonged periods of time is bad for you?

Look, I sit at my computer for hours on end during the day, I’m no better than you.

Here’s what one report says about that:

There is a growing scientific consensus that the more time you spend sitting, the shorter and less healthy your life may be. Excessive sitting, such as at a desk or in front of the TV, significantly impacts your cardiovascular and metabolic function.

This raises your risk for heart attack, type 2 diabetes, insomnia, arthritis, and certain types of cancer–and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Sitting for extended periods of time increases your risk for premature death. This is especially concerning given the fact that you may be vulnerable to these risks even if you are a fit athlete who exercises regularly.”

Now if that doesn’t concern you, then thanks for reading this far.

But for most of us, me included, we have to change our ways.

So here’s how you can do that very easily.

I personally use XNote timer, which can be downloaded for free.

Once you download the software, go to the “More” section at the bottom of the application and click “Always On Top,” so that the app doesn’t get buried in your computer. Then, click on “Timer” and set it to 30 minutes. Once you hit “Start,” in 30 minutes a flash will appear on your screen (not an annoying audible alarm) to remind you to stand up and perform some kind of stretching or whatever you feel like doing at that moment as long as you GET UP and MOVE.

It’s that easy and it works.

That’s what I do now and really feel that the usual aches and pains I felt have lessened greatly.
