I hear it all the time. “I’m tapped out and got nothing to show for it”.

That’s when I get a call for help. Unfortunately, the right kind of help is not free.

So if you are reading this today, here’s a nugget for you to take away.

The most common denominator these people have is they are trying to sell products on “how to make money on the Internet”.  Not being product creators, they rely on affiliate programs which have established sales funnels built in.

Please note that “ALL” affiliates are using the same pages. Where is the individuality in that even though the product may be really good?

Just recently, I was approached by someone very sincere who had spent over $1000 on such a program and wanted to know how it could be monetized better. I take no pleasure in bursting someone’s bubble. However, we did find a solution that will help to recoup that money plus establish a totally different sales funnel solving a problem all network and affiliate marketers cry for most, “leads”.

Sometimes an affiliate will know they need to build a list and will attempt to design their own pages as a gateway to the affiliate product. They have the right idea but not being web designers nor good copywriters, the results are pedestrian, unattractive and ineffective which sabotages their attempts at building trust and authority.

Here’s something else to consider. If you haven’t made any money yourself, how can you teach others? There is no fake it until you make it here.

So my advice is stop selling “get rich on the Internet” information products. That niche is filled with a-level razor sharp marketers who know how to appeal to your desires. It’s sad to say but most don’t have the slighest twinge of guilt selling you products they know don’t work. But it sounds great, right?

The people who do the best know what they bring to the table, know their subject and know their audience’s needs. They also know that if they don’t have the skills they have to hire someone that does.

So find what moves you, evaluate your knowledge and your skills. And if you can’t decide what works for you, ask someone that can guide you in finding those answers.
